A set of linear springs the correct strength for your weight and riding style can work wonders and will compliment your new shock. Then a couple of hours setting up your sag front and rear.
I'm a huge fan of brembo SA brake pads.
I like wilbers shocks.
A set of good tyres. Road 6 are good.
A complete service because previous owners invariably lie so fluids, filters and plugs. Run some fresh hydraulic fluid through the brakes.
EDIT: Check the rear brake disc closely with a good light for hairline cracks running from the drill holes. Replace if seen. OEM honda discs of that era were prone to it. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. That's when you find out everything you want to know.”
I did the 2010 Round Britain Rally on my 350 Bullet. 89 landmarks, 3 months, 9,500 miles. |
